History and Features of Mobile
American Telephone & Telegraph department in 1915 initially developed the wireless phone but it was not launched because they were afraid of decrease in demand for regular telephones.
The commercial mobile was first launched in Japan by NTT in 1978
When we talk about a mobile phone the basic feature is communication i.e. talking and listening but we still have so many value added features in it, so now we will see what all features are available in detail.
• SMS which means short message service wherein we can type a message and send it to the required user where he can read it in his / her mobile
• Email facility i.e. an email can be sent to the user to his mail id where he can read it through internet facility
• Gaming is one of the crazy option now in the youngsters as there are wide range of games that are provided in the mobile as well as they can even download games from internet also into their mobile
• Blue tooth funtion is also very good as a user can send the information from one mobile to other mobile within a short distance without getting charged and this messages can be text, photographs, videos etc. And also this can be used to talk without a connection to the mobile wherein we get a wireless blue tooth hands free set
• Camera and video recorder where we can take photographs from the mobile or even we can record a video.
• MMS where we can send and receive videos and photographs
The mobile connectivity process happens in this way that first the mobiles get connected to the home network stations which are know as cell sites and in turn they get connected to public switched telephone network (PSTN).
