Sometimes, a team that practices a lot does not yield the expected results whereas there are other teams that defeat even veteran and seasoned players because of the efficiency of their practice. This clearly suggests that sincere and focused practice can work wonders for any team.
• Possess a Plan
“Practice makes perfect”, the old saying is truly applicable but it is necessary to pinpoint what needs perfecting? While practicing for football, there are a number of things that an individual or a coach can work on such as the fundamentals like tackling, catching, running etc. Almost all coaches prefer to apply equal amounts of time to all the skills and it works. But it is not wholly advantageous when it come to strengthening the weaknesses or fortifying the strengths.

It is therefore necessary to demarcate your strengths from your weaknesses and begin working on them. Remember what flaws were encountered with your strategy in your last game and try correcting them.
• Getting the best out of Practice
A practice is made up of two things, practice for the team as a whole and practice for the individuals who make up the team. The coach’s primary concern is the general progress of the team and to improve its overall strategy and techniques.
Individual team members should meanwhile focus on their own strengths and weaknesses and work on improving them. Individual improvement would definitely lead to general improvement of the team.
We can simply conclude that players and their team should acknowledge their failings and improve them to ensure progress and success.
